  • GRAW Patch & Ded Server

Browsing to www.ghostrecon.com today and saw that they've just released the 3rd multiplayer map pack/patch. Here's some details...

Two of the most called for multiplayer game modes in the Ghost Recon franchise make their return in GRAW PC Multiplayer Pack3.
    • Siege Mode
      • In Siege you fight for control of a strategic zone, where one team defends (the Ghosts) while the other attacks (the Mexicans). If the attacking team manages to get inside the zone and survive for more than five seconds, they will win the game.
    • Original Ghost Recon Co-op Mode
      • In OGR Cooperative mode, you and your team-mates face off against hostile soldiers in enemy territory. Your mission is to reach the extraction point. The rebel troops have taken Camp Chapultepec and are using it as a staging area for their activities in the region. Their presence is increasingly affecting the operations of troops loyal to the Mexican President and the Ghosts are sent to deal with the situation before the rebels can fortify their position. This mode allows for up to 12 players to play together (3 teams of 4 players)!
Additionally you will find the dedicated servers pack, including:
    • Standalone dedicated server executable
    • Server administration console (complete list of commands to host and manage your matches - restart match, change mode/map, change server options, kick/ban players -)
THIS WILL BE PLAYED AT THE OCTOBER GS LAN

Grab it HERE (yay for AusGamers) and get some prac in for the next LAN.

Discuss is HERE (forum account required)
  • GS October

After having a HUGE weekend at the WCGAU Harvey Norman BYOC it's time to start planning for the October GameServe LAN.

The events page has been updated with details.

In terms of prizes, there'll be some great THQ lewt up for grabs as well as some merch for the new Might & Magic: Dark Messiah game (thanks to the CyberSlam and we might track down some guff from Razer/Icemat/Steelpad as well.

In terms of Comps for the day, Flatout 2 is going to feature for sure and the new 1.4 patch for BF2 will hopefully bring a return for the left side vs right side. GRAW will also have it's latest multiplayer patch released that will give us TDM, DM, SIEGE and Co-Op modes, so the admins are super psyched about getting that going.

Naturally the Admins will be taking on all comers in FarCry, and the chaps from QLD CSS LAN will be there running their CSS tourney.

So it's gonna be a MASSIVE LAN that's not to be missed. Rego's will open Friday, Sept 30.
