  • LAN this weekend!

    That's right people, it's only 2 more sleeps before the carnage begins!

    Don't forget, it's the GRAW theme, so wear your camo's for a chance to win the full game courtesy of Ubisoft.

    The CSS players will be doing there thing at one end of the hall, but for the rest of us (and for the CSS teams that get knocked out) we'll have the usual slew of comps including (but not limited to);
    - BF2 (Left side vs Right side)
    - CoD2 (5v5 and Left vs Right)
    - UT2k4 (to much talk of this on the forums for it be ignored)
    - Crashday
    - FarCry 5v5 Assault

    And assuming I can get the server right, NWN as well. Plus, as per usual, if you want a game just ask and we'll put it up or announce your private server.

    One final reminder... GS is a no-leeching event. No warnings, no excuses, it just doesn't happen and if you don't like it then don't come.

    Sweet as, we'll see you all there!

  • July GS welcomes CSS (and GRAW)

    GameServe has been contacted by the organisers of www.qldcsslan.com to play host to their CSS competition. To start things off they will be running a 1 day tournament at the July LAN, but after that a multi-LAN ladder will be run to lead up to a national final with the winning team being flown to Sydney later in the year.

    The competition is open to GS CSS Clans as well, and all you need to do is register on the QLD CSS LAN website and then follow THIS link to the forum thread where you register your team.

    The addition of this new competition and it's members means that GS will once again be faced with a packed house, so when rego's open tomorrow (Friday) night you'll need to get in quick.

    For non-CSS-ers (and for the CSS teams that have been elim'd) we will still have the usual slew of servers up and running with games like BF2, CoD2, FarCry and whatever else you like. And as a part of a promotion for Ubisofts release of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter we'll be going with a GRAW theme inside the venue and running a GRAW comp as well.

    All paying LAN attendee's will be in the running for heaps of great prizes including copies of GRAW, and the QLD CSS LAN guys will be bringing one of their major sponsors down who will be selling hardware on the day as well.

    Rego's open tomorrow night.
